MGF - House hunting. found car... - oldroverboy.

Wandering around the back alley of a house we were looking at, met a man just back from the MOT with his very tatty 1.8i mgf, P reg, talking a bit, had done cylinder head gasket and fitted new cat .... car for sale for £500, daft or what...

needs respray, new door cards, new hood...

Project phoenix perhaps, destined to waste a lot of money. had mentioned i would give him £250 for it and would run it till it drops or fails mot... as he wasn't keen , suggested flea bay auction or take what he gets for it, temp gauge by the way warmed up and then never moved and fans cut in appropriately.

Secondly, have decided that "cruze" and "comfort" are not quite compatible. Jaguar would be ideal solution, but would only go for petrol and new, and no deals on them at the moment..

Any ways house hunt underway now so that has priority.
