which is the best car kia rio 1.1 cdri or fiesta 1.0 eco. im looking for economical cheap to run car

The ford 1.0 engine fuel economy is a myth.

Likewise the Rio's claim of 88mpg is more like 60.

The kia warranty would swing it for me, but why do you want a diesel?

Modern diesel engines are not economic because of the amount of replacement components that will be required

The only answer is for yoy to test-drive them both and see which you prefer. Onl'y get a diesel if you do at least 15,000 miles a year: even then th advantage of a diesel in a small car is marginal.

I haven't tried one but I believe that the Ford 1.0 Eco is fine if you don't drive it too hard, but if you want to use the lively performance, it can use a lot of petrol.

kia rio 1.1 insurance group 3 fiesta 1,0 eco group 11,

i am now looking at used kia 1.1 better fuel eco . lower insurance and still good waranty

Base your decision on the insurance quote, not the group. Lower group does not always mean lower insurance. Risk and claim profile for the car has more of an effect on the price.

been to ford and i can have the ford privlige scheme with big discount, so it look like im going to look at fiesta.

still like the kia rio 1.1 diesel with its 60 + plus to gallon
