Chertsey to Oxon, Monday morning - mss1tw

I have to do the above trip (and back on Monday morning), and I rarely travel in that direction, just wondered if I need to be leaving at the crack of dawn, or if traffic is usually OK.

It's a 9am start so not too early.

Any advice from the mile-munchers welcome!

I'd leave at 6.45 am latest. J11 of the M25 clockwise to the M40 will be busy but leave it another 30 minutes and it will be awful. If it is rubbish, go west on the M4 to J8/9 Maidenhead and take the A404M noth to the M40. All these roads will be busy so you need to leave a safety "gap." School traffic around Oxford is bad so depending where in Oxford, get there first then look for coffee, don't stop at the Oxford services thinking you've made good time. :-)
