Ford Focus Estate - Heater resistor pack - FISH0504
Hi all,
Can anyone help me with my heater problem on my 2001 ford focus.
Last week smoke came from vents so pulled over and realised that 123 on the heater switch didn't work but 4 did.
I was told it would be the heater resistor fuse gone so I purchased a new one and fitted it into the fuse block behind the glovebox,I left it out to test if everything was ok before securing it and when I started the engine I noticed that black smoke was coming from the resistor fuse block, this was new so have removed the resistor and am now perplexed as to why this is happening.
Hope someone can enlighten me many thanks all.
Adrian.

It is a very easy job on these. It is located behind the glovebox, just below the fuse box.about 15 mins, job done.
