Anyone else out there find the seats in the new mondeo uncomfortable?
After a test drive I liked the car but not the seat. I found it too narrow with very firm side bits which stick into your hips. I'm tall but not wide.
The dealer claimed this was the first negative observation on the seats in years of selling mondeo's!
Is he right or have the seats put anyone else off?

nope very comfortable in fact, especially back support, not as good as some cars but definitely more than OK.

again nope and not a slim jim by any stretch
All I can suggest is really taking time and adjusting the seat per recommendations by Loughborough uni ergonomics dept.

Don't know about the standard cloth ones, but the leather ones in my Mk3 are the most comfortable I've had. My old Mk1 had velour ones which were also very comfortable. If you think they are narrow then you should try the Vauxhall Astra's, they are like sitting on a board with pads on the side.

Dead comfy, no numb bum syndrome, and the back support is superb.

My mate's Mondeo MK1 is the most comfortable I've ever drivin in, and I'm including my dad's BMW in that. :)
Only been in a new Mondeo once, but I don't remember them been bad...
