Mercedes-Benz E-Class W211 2006 V6 - Power loss - gb1958

Hi I am having problems with power loss on my E320 CDI 2006 V6. when started the vehicle will rev perfectly I can hear the turbo kicking in and it will rev to red line easily. However when I select drive the turbo will work once only and then the vehicle goes into limp mode, and will not rev beyond 3000 rpm it takes an age and level ground to reach that, far from the 0 - 60 of 6.8secs previously achieved. I have changed the seals from the air intake hose to the turbo. I have run the engine with the maff sensors connected one at a time and none connected at all but no difference. can anybody help please.

Standard procedure would be to read the fault codes, preferably from someone with access to STAR.

Limp home could be caused by overboosting, symptom of sticking turbo actuator/veins.
