hi there,when i am driving with my lights and heater on and take my foot of the gas pedal the battery light comes on, on the dash board what might the problem be

What do you mean "take my foot of the gas pedal " do you mean when the engine returns to idle rpm. Regards Peter

no not return just not accelerating

Bad earth perhaps? I'd check,, clean and greaseproof all earth points and consider replacing the battery if you don't know its age or its over 4 years old.

Sounds more like a fractured cable and the engine movement is causing the cable to go open circuit. Regards Peter
