Ford Focus 2003 - Changing alloy wheels - Xenia
I have recently brought a 2003 ford focus. I have been told that one of the alloy wheels is corroding which resulted in a flat tyre the other week as it wasn't sitting correctly on the wheel.

Initial enquiries suggest its probably easier to get some wheels from another focus but I don't know whether I can just have any wheels or whether they have to be exactly the same as what I already have. They are currently 17inch. Can I get any 17inch or could I even go down to 15?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Here's a list of cars with comparable wheels: www.wheelfitment.eu/car/Ford/Focus%20%281998%20-%2.../

You may have a problem with smaller diameter wheels fitting over the front brakes and also you'll need to inform your insurers if you fit a different wheel than that originally specified (so some here claim).
