From new. Wipers leaving a 50mm wide double stripe of uncleaned glass in way of joints in blade holders except in full wet conditions. Wipers changed twice by supplier to no avail.

As a last resort, one piece holders from a Civic & a Jazz(?) were fitted & work well but not 100%.

On inspection of the blades(rubbers), each of the articulated ones show uneven edge wear conducive to being stretched differently to the rest of the blade over a 50mm width, in way of the holder joint, hence the inefficient wipe.

The problem has been put to Honda U.K. who do not acknowledge a defect & do not admit to what seems to be a design fault, despite my providing photographic evidence. A defective screen was ruled out.

In retrospect I should have refused the vehicle, but the problem only showed after several weeks of fine weather.

Am I the only person to report this?
