Skoda Fabia 1.2 2009 - CMU problem - robbie123

I have a Skoda Fabia 1.2 2009. The lights were left on and after a jump start the key fault logo started to flash. I had a car locksmith check everything over. Each individual section was ok but he found the following problems:
Internal Cmu memory error
Shortcut to ground

The key could not be reprogrammed and the CMU could not be read or accessed. The battery was disconnected and the dash removed and checked.

Any help possible cost of repair or fixes thanks.
