triumph tr6 - lhd to rhd conversion - doghead

i am thinking of buying a lhd triumph tr6 which has been imported from the states.i believe i can buy a conversion kit for about £1000. i have quite a lot of mechanical skill but wondered has any experience/advice regards this DIY conversion

I converted a Morris Oxford many years ago but I got all the bits from a scrap car.

Can,t see the point in converting left to right or vice versa.you will certainly reduce the value of the car and the vin no will be inaccurate.

It will, but it's a fairly obvious alteration?
