when turning the steering on full lock there is a noise and what seems to be a loose plate in foot well of the car. the car was purchased in september and has 500 miles on the clock. Brought it back to dealer and they experanced the same as us. THey took a similar car out and it had the same prob and explained that it was safe enough and it was something that was possibly in all new micras

If I was you I would take it back there should be no noise on any position of the steering wheel on a new car you could always get a second opinion from a good mechanic.
