Chevrolet Epica - Oh Lord ......... what HAVE i done.......... - mondeo1306

After 4 years and 110,000 miles with a Mondeo:-

DMF,Clutch, aux belt. 4 injectors, 4 coils, wishbones, etc, etc

(repairs costing £3000 at least)

Ive bought a Chevrolet Epica 2.0ltr diesel, 59 plate, 55,000 miles

should i invest in a warranty at £300?

Save your £300 unless you bought the car from a chevrolet dealer and they are selling you achevrolet aftermarket warranty! Do not use the car oncontinuous very short runs, it will NOT like it. read the posts in the chevroletownersclub uk forum, mine and others, when you do an oil change top it up only to the minimum level, as when diesl is added to the sump via a failty regeneration (those short runs) the level will go up and OUCH.

make sure you use the correct oil.

Was a great motorway car while i used it for that. boot big enough to have a party in.

I think we have met already on the chevvy forum..

what IS the right oil, Edge or Magnatec?

the car came without the owners handbook but with the service record

mines a taxi (of sorts) does 30 miles in the morning and again in the afternoon
