Dear Forum,

I purchased a car last year which had a new dash board fitted with different mileage to what was on the service history.

The owner told me what the correct milage was, which I wrote on the receipt, but have unfortuately misplaced.

I can recall the milage being approximately 26k miles lower than actual milage, but as the service message is showing service due, would anyone know if the service would be between mileage from the past service, i.e. every 10k miles, as the last service was at 149577 miles.

The dash most have been done before the last service as past MOT show milage on new dash.

Trying to be as honest as I can to the new owner as intend to sell the car, but I'm guessing the car is at 160k - 162k, any help in trying to prove current milage would be most welcome.
