peugeot 306 LX deisel - lost radio code - philby007

my radio has just arrived from the previous owner but she has now moved to belgium and i can't contact her. the radio is a kenwood 'kdc3021' face off. is this the original radio when the car was new in 1997? how can i get the code for it?

This kenwood radio is not coded and is not the original radio that would have been fitted from the factory as new.

The stereo keeps asking me for a code? Is there anything that I can do to override it?

If it is asking for a code,then it may be one of this type of Kenwood radio that uses a transducer/dongle to release the code.Looks like a small blue plastic key fob.If you have not got it then it is cheaper to buy a new radio.hth
