I have water in my footwells and none in expansion tank. Is this possible the heatyer matrix?
The easiest way to tell is to tase it, I know its not very hygenic but shouldn't do you any harm, if its antifreeze it will probably taste sweet.
I did that once with a recurring puddle under one of my cars.
The neighbours had a cat!
