Audi A4 Avant - Audi A4 current trade prices? - bodgerx
Bit of a cheeky request, but I am currently looking at:

Audi A4 Avant 2.0 143 D, SE 59' 2009 with 61k. Silver. Multitronic. Leather and nav options. Average condition.

Audi A4 Avant 2.0 143 D, S Line, 09' 2009 with 89k. grey. Manual. Clean condition.

Wisebuyers reckons £8500 trade for the S Line with 89k. Glasses trade price is 10k!

Is anyone able to give me the latest CAP clean and average prices for these?

I would be extremely grateful if you could...

Not what you asked, but I'd suggest you do some careful research before going anywhere near an Audi with the (in)famous multitronic gearbox. Here. for example: tinyurl.com/orzz6b8

Yep, well aware of the problems with the previous model of A4.

This is the B8 (2008+) A4 whereby the problems with the Multitronic are mostly gone, as long as the oil changes are done. Its a different box the B7.

Anybody have those CAP prices? Would be very grateful...

Unfortunately Which? Doesn't have CAP prices. I trust Wisebuyers more than Which anyway.

Funny that. I got 2 prices for 2 cars in March this year generated by CAP from which with my trial membership.

When did it change?

The data there is CAP based data, it has the logo on etc. (just like a non-trade customer can get off the web site). What it doesn't tell you is the actual CAP "Clean" and "Average" trade prices which are available only if you have a trade account, or if you have a trade account with BCA etc.

This is important, as I'm off to a few auctions to check these out.

Those are the dealer trade-in and retail prices.

They are not the Auction prices provided by CAP.

Last time I bought at auction, I bought in November. Seems to be the cheapest time. Given the high CAP prices at the mo, I think I might wait. Was hoping to walk out the door for no more than 10k and leave a bit extra to sort out the inevitable scuffs and scratches of a fleet return...

On the assumption that the first is EO59ZXS the CAP price is £10300.

The second one is about £10500 (S-Line models fetch more).

Note that options bump up the prices above those and auction prices are very high at the moment. Also, take into account fees of about £600 on top of hammer price and check it is worth it.
