Hi,

I have a T reg ford focus. My key fob has stopped working, I have tried re-setting the central locking by turning the key off an on 4 times (I read it on one of thw forums), but it hasn't worked.

When I lock the driver side door with the key it doesn't lock all the doors. It works some times, but most of the times I have to lock all the doors from inside and then lock the driver side door with the key.

Can anyone help please.

This worked for me with an identical problem with a Mondeo it could just be worth a try. Open all other doors but ensure the drivers door is closed, try to lock and unlock several times the drivers door at least 3 times. The key is the other doors are open when you attempt to lock and unlock the drivers door, it may just partially re-allign the central locking. The best of luck.

Tried that today, it seems to be working. Will see how it works over the next few days. It used to work some times before as well. Hope it has fixed the problem.
