Apologies if covered elsewhere-first time on the forum in 4 years

my wife has just had a temp punture repair by AA (who were good ).

slow puncture repaired with SLIME injection.

AA made a big thing of how it is subsequently repairable and does not need a new tyre.

needless to say-halfords/kwik fi and two independents say they will not repair a slime filled trye an will only replace.

A bit frustrating (and costly ) as AA made bit thing about it being repairable.

Has anyone encountered similar/ can it be repaired (anyone know who will?)-or are AA simply wrong ?

ant thoughts welcome.
