We are considering part x our fox,the boot lock does not open and the transponder key is broken beyond repair,is it worth getting these repaired or will it not make much difference to the offer they will give.
No ,I don't think it will make your fox worth more .If your part exchanging it with a dealer your not obliged to tell the dealer .As professionals its for them to decide what faults a car has as well as what it's worth .
same as above,,,not worth repairing,,,if the dealer asks if there anything wrong with the car then you must tell them,but in my experience they never do,,there only interested in getting you into a newer car,,,,,,,good luck,,,,,,,,,,
If the transponder key casing is badly damaged it may lose a bit of money from your sale and it may make an independent look a bit deeper around the car.
Dealers generaly domt make much if anything from PX unless the cars are relativly young and low mileage,
