Skoda Fabia Estate 2006 1.9TDI - Electric windows fault - wyliemg

My electric front windows have stopped working. They stooped on Tuesday then stated again but now wont work at all. Although the front windows are fused separatley I have checked them and are both OK. I have also checked the plug and switches on the door which both seem OK.

Hi - did you ever get this fixed? I have a similar problem with a Roomster and was wondering what the verdict was on your Fabia. Windows sometimes open sometimes not. The central locking also seems to sometimes work and sometimes not and the internal light doesn't go out when you lock the door from the outside and I wondered if these were connected to the window issues.

I just wanted to add to this that my windows are finally fixed. Took them a long time to work it out. There are apparently two control boxes for the windows and doors, on in the door and one in the dashboard, and it was the one from the door that was faulty. Had somehow scrambled it's circuits.
