Volvo 740/760 (1984 - 1990 )

Estates are big, solid and practical. Capable of high mileage with sensible maintenance. Saloons much cheaper for same levels of protection.

Horrible handling, even before the suspension starts to sag. Saloon has a small boot and is hard to sell.
