Ford Sierra and Sapphire (1982 - 1993 )

Honest family car/reps special and a huge seller in its day. Fully independent suspension. Cosworths a fantastic drive.

Rust, clocked cars, cloned cars, knackered suspension - you name it. Finding a good one is very hard these days. Most have been scrapped.

Introduction

In its replacement for the Cortina Ford gave us independent rear suspension. Even the 2.0 litre was originally a quick car with 9.0 second 0-60.
