Scheme name: Mercedes-Benz Approved Used Cars

Warranty period: At least 12 months' comprehensive unlimited mileage warranty. The warranty is valid for up to 60 days driving per annum in the Republic of Ireland and mainland Europe. If your car is being repaired under warranty, Mercedes-Benz will pay up to £50 per day towards the cost of a replacement.

History check? Checked to make sure that there are no outstanding finance charges and is not registered as stolen or as an insurance write-off. You will receive a certificate to confirm that the chassis and registration numbers are the same as those recorded by the DVLA. Every vehicle comes with a certificate confirming that the recorded mileage is genuine.

Inspection? Every Approved Used car has been checked inside and out, under the bonnet and on the road by a specialist Mercedes-Benz technician.

Breakdown Cover: 12 months Roadside Assistance package, plus if your vehicle was initially registered after 24 October 1998, and has regular Mercedes-Benz Official Workshop servicing, it may also qualify for one of the Mobilo programmes.

Exchange policy: 30 days / 1000 miles.

Special features of the scheme: Protection for your next MOT after you have purchased your Approved Used vehicle. It covers the cost of replacing, repairing or altering covered parts that have caused the car to fail its MOT within 30 days of the due date. Cover runs for at least one year.

Seven days drive-away insurance is also included.
