Is a coil relay fault preventing my Renault Clio from starting?

I recently tried to start my Renault Clio Dynamique first thing in the morning. It would turn over but not actually kick in. Previously, the coil light had come on occasionally but never stopped the car from starting up. I'm not sure if one of the brown relay components is missing, as there only seems to be one there. Someone told me that there should be more - is this correct? Does anyone know how many there should be and what and what voltage they should be?

I'm not sure what you mean by the coil light (is your car a diesel?). Also I would require more detail than "a brown relay" and I'm not sure why someone would assume one is missing unless someone has removed it. Your car's voltage is 12V and so are all the components.
