Does my Skoda Octavia need a cam belt service at 55,000 miles?

I have a March 2006 Skoda Octavia 2.0TDi PD estate which has covered 54,000 miles and is on 10,000 mile service intervals, as it does mainly short trips. The car's computer has advised that it will need a service in 2000 miles. My local independent garage and also the Skoda dealer tell me that this will be the big cam belt service, but the car's handbook says to change the cam belt at 120,000km or 75,000 miles. What would your advice be?
It needs a timing belt, tensioner, small pulleys and water pump, because this engine's water pump is timing belt-driven.
