Does the Mercedes-Benz W202 C180 really have a 30-year bodywork warranty?
John, you state in your car-by-car entry on the Mercedes-Benz W202 C180 that the bodywork has a 30 year warranty! I called Mercedes-Benz, who said it is only three years. What is the real situation? Is there anyway I can get a free repair on my slightly (above the wheel arch) corroded 1994 Mercedes-Benz C180?

The paint has a three-year warranty. The body did have a 30-year warranty if certain conditions were adhered to, though Mercedes-Benz is now reneging on it. I'll modify that entry.
