Is Mercedes-Benz wising up at last over the GLC issue?

In January 2017, I formally raised the issue with MB UK regarding my Mercedes-Benz GLC and its unpredictable behaviour when on full lock. At the time, I got the same unhelpful push back that others have reported. I made sure that the call was being recorded and I described in detail my view as to why my car had a design fault. Since then I have been gearing up to lobby senior executives in Germany. I have also been considering triggering the process to hand my car back to the dealer. Interestingly, I've had a call from MB UK today about my complaint. Other's that have complained will also be called, I was assured. On the call I was told that after extensive testing in the UK and Germany they are now offering me all season tyres for free and indicated that that they are still investigating the issue.

I've had several reports of this. Owners being individually phoned and offered all season tyres FoC. MB seems to have capitulated.
