Is it suspicious that the dealer won't provide me with details of a car's digital service history?

I was looking at a second hand (15 reg) Skoda Octavia Estate with 60,000 miles on the clock, asking price £9000. All seemed well on inspection of the vehicle and on test drive but once I got back to the garage the dealer told me that due to the vehicle having a digital servicing record they couldn't provide me with any details of the service history. I asked them to contact the garage where it had been serviced and they duly did so. They gave me the dates of service, the mileage and that it was fully serviced, but no further information was available. This seems rather suspect to me, would I be wise to avoid this car/dealer?

Yes. Because, of course, a digital service history can be printed out.
