Is it common for Hyundai i20 and i30 radio units to fail?

My wife purchased a new Hyundia i20 last September, and has been very pleased with it. Since February of this year the radio has been intermittently doing a 'Norman Collier' on us. The radio breaks up as if losing the signal and then comes back. The dealership service manager tells me this is a problem that Hyundai are trying to fix. The service manager showed me that by removing the radio fuse for a few seconds and then replacing it, this cures the problem temporarily, and although it is a bit of an imposition this process works. The car is due for its first service shortly and I would like to know if other Hyundai owners have had the same problem, and if a cure has been found?

Problems with radios fitted to Hyundais seem to be common. But there is no commonality. The i30 is built in the Czech Republic. The i20 is built in India.
