Will my BMW's repair kit ruin the tyre?

I have a BMW 530i (2004 model) with no spare tyre. It does have a repair kit though, will this ruin the tyre?

It usually doesn't work and can ruin the tyre. Better to call out the AA, borrow one of the AA's universal space saver wheels, hobble to a tyre depot and try to get the tyre fixed. First make sure your 2004 isn't on runflats because it probably came out of the factory on them.
