Why has the Mercedes-Benz emblem been removed from bonnets?
Why don't Mercedes have the badge on the bonnet any more (except the S Class)? I find they all look much the same from a distance. I will no longer buy a Merc without one. Am I alone.

The reason is pedestrian safety. Cannot get the necessary high NCAP score with a gizmo on the bonnet that could take a child's eye out.
