Faulty heater on Ford Ka

My girlfriend has a 2009 Ford Ka and is having a problem with the heater; it only seems to work on setting four. I've been told it's something to do with the resistor but I'm having trouble locating this. Any help would be appreciated.

Never, ever replace a heater resistor without replacing the fan motor or the car could catch fire. The problem with Kas is usually the electric heater valve between the engine and the heater matrix, not the heater motor, but if it's fan speed related it's the heater motor and both motor and resistor need replacing.
