Ford Fiesta ABS warning light on

My Ford Fiesta ABS warning light is on. My local garage say they can't repair because it has to be done by Ford. Ford say that it will cost £144 for diagnostics and then possibly £1380 to replace the ABS module. Can that be right?

Rubbish. And a useless local garage. The ABS module can be removed and sent to www.ecutesting.com who will rebuild the module, replacing the failed brake pressure sensor and send it back to you for about £400. Find a garage who will take it off, send it to ECU testing and re-fit it.
