Do all modern cars get SCR?

There has been a lot of information recently on the TV, radio and newspapers regarding diesel cars and how damaging Nox emissions are to your health. I have heard that these emissions can be countered by the injection of "Urea" into the fuel system as is done with commercial vehicles. Is this true and are the latest cars fitted with this system?

Yes. The system is called SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) using a product called AdBlue available at £15.99 for 10 litres. All larger engined or larger bodied diesel cars need this system to meet EU6 and some 1.6 diesels have it anyway.
