Tall driver in need of a small automatic car - what would you recommend?

I am after a small yet spacious automatic car for under £2900. I am 6ft 3in and only need this to get me to work and home which is at maximum 20 miles overall. Which car would you suggest I buy?

A Yaris 1.3 four-speed auto up to 1995 is quite tall (especially a Yaris Verso) but Yaris automated manuals after 1995 were pants.
