Need a economical SUV with a bit of poke
I am thinking of selling 2013 Nissan Qashqai (underpowered and thirsty). I want to replace it with a petrol/automatic/ SUV with a smaller footprint (London parking). However, it must have space for a set of golf clubs in the boot.
Looking at Toyota Prius, Honda HR-V, Kia Sportage - nothing bigger wanted. Running costs relevant, willing to spend up to £25K, enjoy high-tech options on the dashboard and car MUST have 'poke', at the moment I feel as I am driving around in a milk float achieving 35mpg. What do you suggest I buy?

Forget the Prius, then. KIA does a twin clutch auto of the new Sportage 1.6T-GDI petrol, but it's more than £25k. Comfortably inside is the Suzuki Vitara S 1.4 BoosterJet six-speed torque converter auto.
