Buying a high mileage van - how long should it last?

I am looking for a used van. I've seen quite a few two year old Ford Transits with 100,000 miles on the clock. Will these be okay to buy? I am looking for a van that will last seven years.

No. It was built to do 200,000 miles in four years. It was not built to do 100,000 miles in two years then last a further seven years.
