Motorhome leaking water - can I reject it?
I purchased a motorhome in 2015. I've covered less than 1000 miles in it, but am having problems with the roof. Basically, the roof holds water and - when you move the motor home - the water pours into the cabin via the roof ventilators.
To try to correct this problem the dealer has fitted two different makes of ventilator but will not consider making the roof convex. Changing the ventilators alter the specification of the motor home, reducing the resale value and in my opinion will not make the roof watertight. Should I reject the vehicle?

That is a classic fault that is covered on the facts by the ruling in Clegg v Olle Andersson, House of Lords, 2003. If he can't fix it, he has to take the van back and give you your money back. See: www.honestjohn.co.uk/faq/consumer-rights/
