Availablity of Michelin winter tyres

I have tried to replace two of my 175/64R14 Michelin Alpin A4's. My tyre depot (Michelin agents) tell me Michelin say they have no stock of that size and have no predicted date for availability. My depot also however say that many manufacturers, to keep their sales figures looking good, often "dump" large quantities of tyres on brokers, so they might be available if one but knew where to look. Can your helpful Michelin man say when - or where - this size is likely to be available?

That's strange. I have a set of 175/65 R14 Alpins that I haven't used for the past 3 years. The easy way to find them is to Google <Michelin Alpin 4 175/65 R14> and lots come up, from £38.48 each.
