Garage has broken car and now won't fix it?

I left my car with a garage for blown exhaust manifold gasket. Said it was the head gasket so told them to go ahead. Now garage cann get car to start. They say it may be wiring. Just told me to take the car away. But as it's not driveable. What can I do?

This is an old car (21 years old) so it is not "reasonable" to put it into a garage and automatically assume they will be able to repair it. What the position is depends on the terms of the repair. If you are willing to fund repairs up to an agreed amount you can leave it with the garage to work on it up to that amount of labour and parts. Otherwise you can arrange for it to be towed elsewhere to either be stored or to be fixed.
