Do the KIA Soul and Cee'd diesel models have DPFs?

Last Sunday you suggested that someone doing low mileage and short trips should not buy a car with a particulate filter. I do about 8000 miles a year- a mixture of fairly short journeys and also some fairly long ones using the motorway. I want to change my 53-plate Ford Mondeo diesel - in which I average 58mpg - for something a bit smaller. I have tried both the KIA Soul and the Cee'd and was impressed by the ride in both. Would you recommend the 1.6 diesel 115 or the 1.6 petrol? And are there any disadvantages in the Cee'd SW which drove like a big car without the extra length of the Mondeo?

These 1.6 diesel models don't yet have particulate filters, but will probably get them later in the year to comply with EU5.
