All weather tyres - which ones for a Fiat Sedici?

My Fiat Sedici 4 x 4 is a superb utility vehicle: low motorway usage, country lanes but no off-country. We have two or three weeks snow here in north Derbyshire and whilst the 4 x 4 system works well, I cannot justify the cost of buying snow tyres and rims for winter and "summer" tyres for the rest of the year.
Is there a tyre that will give me extra grip in the snow without having to resort to full winter tyre spec please?

Michelin Cross Climate, Nokian Weatherproof, Goodyear Vector 4 Seasons. Vredestein Quatrac, Bridgestone A001s. All are 'all season' tyres with better capability in cold weather than conventional 'summer tyres'.
