Reliability of small turbo engines

Are there any reliability issues with small petrol engines with a turbo?

Initially (very initially, not since) there was a bit of trouble with the turbo on Focus 1.0 EcoBoost. Since then, no reports. Renault/Nissan's 4-cylinder 1.2 TCe seems to be particularly reliable. I've run Peugeot's 130PS 1.2 Puretech for nearly a year and 12k miles with no trouble, no oil used, and excellent economy of 48.5mpg. VWG switched from chain cam to belt cam for its EA211s that has suffered from poor quality chains. No reports of trouble with the belt cam 1.2 TSI. The troublesome engine was the 1.4 Twincharger that had both a supercharger and a turbo.
