Mitsubishi Outlander - chain or belt cam?

I have Just purchased a 2008 Mitsubishi Outlander 2.0 diesel (as i couldn't find a 2.2 Mitsubishi engined one in my area) I am assuming that it has a timing belt and not chain? Additionally - my vehicle has 77,000 miles, when should I change belt?
This as a Volkswagen 2.0 TDI engine and needs a timing belt, tensioner and waterpump change every 4 years or every 60k miles whichever comes first. In this case it's probably overdue. Should cost about £500.
