Considering buying a new Honda CR-V

With respect to the Honda CR-V 2.0 petrol automatic gearbox, I was considering buying one new but have noticed your comment that this model or rather gearbox is "best avoided". I would be grateful if you would explain why. I might wait for the HR-V if this model/gearbox is problematic.

Just too gutless. Changes gear all the time. Not pleasant or relaxing to drive as an automatic should be: www.honestjohn.co.uk/road-tests/honda/honda-cr-v-2.../
