Cambelt on an Audi A5 Sportback

I own a May 2010 Audi A5 which I have maintained and serviced since new. About 83K miles on clock. Just had a call from Audi who said i needed a new cam belt now and when I questioned them they said at 140K miles, but when I said only 83K they then said oh but it is 5 years old therefore needs a new cam belt. I have booked the car in for a so called free health check, but as I have only done 83K miles do i wait until it is 140K miles or does 5 years mean cam belt 'old'. I intend seeking a second opinion but as i will be doing about 30k over next 12 months and likely another 20 to 30k the year after before I change cars I need to be sure I have minimised my risk but only done what I can afford to do.

Normally it's 5 years or 60k miles whichever comes first. Belt, tensioner and waterpump. You'd have to be nuts to leave the same belt and waterpump in place for 140k miles and if that wrecks your engine (presumably 2.0 TDI), you're into about £6k-£8k for a new engine.
