Will my hybrid tow a caravan?

Before I commit to fitting a towbar to my new Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV, are there any issues regarding possible overheating of the drivetrain and components during caravan towing that I should consider?

The vehicle is rated for towing, but these are questions you will have to ask of Mitsubishi or its dealers because we have no feedback from readers who have towed with Outlander PHEVs. What we can tell you is that towing any significant distance will probably not be an economical experience.
