Which extended car warranty is best?

We are buying a six year old Ford Mondeo with 44,000 miles on the clock. We would like to get an extended warranty, but are confused as some warranties exclude wear and tear. Can you recommend a warranty provider?

Warranty Direct. A warranty that excludes wear and tear on almost everything actually excludes almost everything and is worthless.
