Should I buy a car without a service history?

Should I 2005 Peugeot 307 without a service history? The car in question has average mileage and the seller has factored in a lack of service history into the price.

If it's a 90PS engine and doesn't have a diesel particulate filter it could be more reliable than 307 1.6HDIs usually are. But you need to factor in an immediate change of timing belt, water pump and small pulleys, and check everything electrical.
